VuKart ("we," "us," or "VuKart") facilitates delivery and shipping services for food, parcels, and e-commerce products through our multi-service platform (the "Platform"). This Delivery/Shipping Policy outlines how deliveries and shipments are handled for users ("Users") and service providers ("Providers") such as drivers, couriers, and merchants. 2. Delivery and Shipping Services
VuKart offers:
- Food Delivery: Delivery of food orders from restaurants to Users.
- Parcel Delivery: Shipping of packages within or across regions.
- E-Commerce Shipping: Delivery of products purchased from merchants on the Platform.
Deliveries are fulfilled by Providers (e.g., couriers, drivers) coordinated through VuKart.
3. Delivery/Shipping Process
- Order Placement:
- Users place orders via the VuKart app, specifying delivery address and preferences.
- Provider Assignment:
- VuKart assigns a Provider (e.g., driver, courier) based on location and availability.
- Tracking:
- Users can track deliveries in real-time via the app, where available.
- Delivery Confirmation:
- Users confirm receipt via the app or by accepting the delivery.
- For e-commerce, Users must inspect items upon receipt and report issues within 48 hours.
4. Service-Specific Delivery Guidelines
Food Delivery
- Estimated Delivery Time: Displayed in the app at order placement (typically 30-60 minutes, depending on restaurant and distance).
- Conditions: Food is delivered to the User’s specified address. Ensure the address is accurate to avoid delays.
- Issues: Report non-delivery, incorrect, or spoiled food within 24 hours for refund eligibility (see Refund Policy).
Parcel Delivery
- Estimated Delivery Time: Varies (e.g., same-day for local, 3-7 days for regional), shown at checkout.
- Conditions: Parcels must comply with size/weight restrictions and prohibited items (e.g., hazardous materials).
- Issues: Report lost, damaged, or delayed parcels within 48 hours.
E-Commerce
- Estimated Shipping Time: 3-14 days, depending on merchant location and shipping method (displayed at checkout).
- Conditions: Products are shipped to the User’s address by the merchant or a courier. Tracking is provided where available.
- Issues: Report non-delivery, defective, or incorrect items within 14 days for returns/refunds (see Refund Policy).
5. Delivery/Shipping Fees
- Fees are calculated based on distance, service type, and order value, displayed at checkout.
- Additional fees (e.g., express delivery, international shipping) are clearly indicated.
- Fees are non-refundable unless the delivery fails due to Provider or VuKart error.
6. Delays and Issues
- Delays: VuKart is not liable for delays caused by Providers, traffic, weather, or other uncontrollable factors. Users will be notified of significant delays.
- Lost or Damaged Items: Report issues within 48 hours via contact@vanuatu-kart.com with order ID and evidence (e.g., photos of damaged items).
- Resolution: Eligible issues may qualify for refunds or replacements per our Refund Policy.
7. International Shipments
- For e-commerce orders shipped internationally, Users are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and compliance with local regulations.
- VuKart coordinates with customs agents to facilitate clearance, where applicable.
- Delivery times may vary due to customs processing.
